Does it happen even if you go to a gas station that has condom-less fuel pump nozzles?
I can't say I've noticed - most of the refueling is done in NJ - we still have gas attendants pumping the gas - though I believe most pumps have the plastic vapor sleeves.

I was reading somewhere on a Porsche site that the tank vents have a solenoid switch that opens and closes the vent - I am not sure why it needs to closed at times. But if it is closed during fueling you get the same problem with a Porsche. Does anyone know if the Yukon has a similar switch on the tank vents?
