LOL. Phoenix is the home of the famous Sheriff Joe Arpio. For those who don't know... he became famous for "tent city" jail, green bologna (and yes he really makes them eat it), pink underwear and the revival of black n white striped jail suits. And of course when you are in such a position there will always be those who don't quite agree with you. So part of my paycheck goes to support a personal vehicle fully equipped with bullet-proof glass and armored body panels...and since he receives 1-2 death threats a week my check also goes to support a full time staff of 5 deputies who investigate each and every call until it is tracked down...and as far as I know, someone has yet to be arrested for making a nasty phone call to the sheriff.
