Well damn man thats fu*ked up, I think they saw that your warenty was going to end and they waited till it did before they told you about it, where did you take it? As far as the exhaust I would go and get an aftermarket one and then take it somewhere else and have them put it on and at the same time see if anything was wrong with the original one.
