Umm...no because the Monteverdi was originally designed in 1990 from ONYx monteverdi F1 team, and presented at geneva 1992 FOUR YEARS before the f50 in 1996! If anyone copied, it was Ferrari. The cars do look similar at first glance, but it is obvious to me by the amount of pics I have just how different the two cars are. The back looks completely diffent, and the front of the monteverdi is only a small smooth rectangular air dam. the lights and hood are completely different as well. The entire car is much more rounder and more elegant than the f50 with its slab sides. Not that slab sided f50s are bad of course
the monteverdi is also faster, capable of 210 mph speeds!
