For resin bodies the most vital thing is to get them clean before painting. This is to remove any mold-release agent that may still be on the body. Stick it in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes, and give it a good brush with an old toothbrush to get in all the nooks and cranies. Then rinse, and I blow dry using air out of my compressor. I aim to get the first coat of primer on straight away to avoid the body picking up too much grease and dust, for some reason resin seems to attract it even more than plastic! After the first primer coat, just paint it like plastic. Hope that helps some... and welcome on board.
