Call the Service Manager and tell him/her what is happening and that you can't seem to get it there before the light goes out. The next time it happens, stop the TB as soon as the light comes on and have it towed to the dealership with a towtruck that just lifts the rear tires, so that the back tires don't roll. They should be able to catch the problem and repair it. When our 03 TB was locking up in park, it would always be fine by the time we got it to them. The only way we could get it diagnosed was this way. The car hasn't done it since. Just a thought.
