ECM controls the air-fuel mixture by shortening or lenghthening the injector duration. My 90 K1500 only has 1 oxygen sensor and its in the back of the driver side exhaust manifold. Don't know where the second sensor would be on K2500 unless theres a second one in the other manifold. Replacing the sensor will more than likely take care of the problem. Did the replacement ECM and PROM match the ones you replaced? Don't have my Haynes here, but the firing order is on the intake manifold.
