I have a 94 s 10 with the 4l60e transmition and I have been thinking about a v8 swap. My question is if my transmition will be able to handle the extra power? The truck has 250k km on it and I recently got a shift kit put in by a shop. They didnt say that the tranie was in bad shape all he said was a clutch pack may need to be replaced.
