You can run a car with a bad sensor without too much affect; yes it will turn on a dash light however nobody is going to gain seconds off 1/4 mile times by putting in a new sensor. An automotive sensor is just that a sensor. It will tell you about a problem with the engine, but if a sensor itself fails; this only will give the driver a false reading about the condition of the engine.

Your the one making the claim about 1/4 mile times, I choose not to drag race my station wagon. Its a good car for racing down to the supermarket, nothing more nothing less.
