No its not. My 1992 K1500 doesn't have the limited slip rear end (G80). It has the 5.7 TBI, 4-spd automatic trans. (I assume its the 700r4, but I really dont know), and .342 gear ratios (which are standard on K1500s).

Now the limited slip rear end is standard with the towing package, and my truck did not come with a towing package.
