Now I just don't agree with that...I didn't even look at names when I made my choices. I let the models speak for themselves. And boy, was that tough!

I'll agree with that. Its kinda like a popularity contest. All of us have models that come out really great, and sometimes really shitty.
EDIT: I finally figured out how to word this right: Okay, some (okay, alot...bah!) are rushed (I'm a tad bit impatient), or messed up towards the end. But, when I set down, take my time, and do actually try to do my best, they normally come out pretty well. Especially this years AFMOTY entrant, my Jeep. NOT voting for me, or anyone else for that matter, because my or there other models are shitty isnt right.
Heres a voting tip: The first thing i did to help me narrow my votes down was pic my top favorites, by quickly looking at each picture.. This was easy, as it was a high number, 6 or 8, or so. For you it could be 15, or more. Then I closely look at each picture, and make mental notes of EVERY mistake that i can pickup with just glancing at it.. Does the bumper fit straight, or is the window trim painted straight, or is it even there?!. That should narrow it down further. This cut my 6 or 8 right in half. Then i look at each pic carefully and note EVERY SINGLE mistake. Do the tires look right on the rims (too skinny, wide, etc), look at the shine of paint, see if the panel lines are there, if there too dark and or bright.. by now you should be to 3, or keep repeating these steps. NOT ONCE did I look at the usernames untill it was time to vote.
