Hi Mr Selldorff- Good to see that you still take the time to check in here.
I've always been kind of curious about the noises from inside an F1. Not just the sounds from the engine or transmission, but the sounds of rocks coming off the tires that hit the carbon fiber underbody at low speeds and also windnoise at high speed? How much of either do you hear? At what speed does the windnoise really start to impede if at all.
In one experience of mine in a '96 911 Turbo, the rush of the wind noise really began to overwhelm all other sounds at about 160mph, and by about 180 mph the doors were starting to get sucked out a bit around the window frames causing the rush of wind noise to get even louder.
Do you experience anything like that in the F1 at high speeds? I suspect in the effort to save weight that the F1 doesn't have a lot of sound deadening built in. Do the doors seal up fairly well - there doesn't seem to be much weather stripping around the seams of the doors.
