If you do have to replace the ATC Panel, try to get a working used one from a wrecking yard if you are unsucessful trying to repair the one you have. If you go to a dealer for one you better hang on to your wallet, I got quoted 450 bucks for one from a dealer!
Sorry about your LHS, I checked out the pics you had posted, glad everybody was unhurt. I had a 95 Concorde that got taken out by a Civic because some "nice lady" let the driver make a left and pull between a lane of stopped traffic on a 7 lane road (3 each direction and center left turn lane) and right into my path. I had no time to react when seeing the nose of the car come through because the next thing I saw a split second later was the airbag!

Neither person had any injuries but both vehicles were totalled.
