well i know you put in alot of work in your car dude and it might have sentimental value, but if i was you I would try to keep the car no matter what, and get money out of it as much as you can squeeze out of your claim. If it works out, you can take out all the mods you put in your car keep what ever you want. buy the same car and install your previous mods to the new(used) hatch, plus if you part out parts you dont want you will make a little extra money. I dont know if it sounds good but thats what i would do, that way you will avoid running into problems cause by the accident.
