I just put one in my 99. I paid $307 and did it myself. One thing I noticed AFTER the pump was in, the ground for the pump was not making very good contact. On the left inside of the frame near the back there are two wires with a 13 MM bolt holding the terminals to the frame.
The frame was covered in some kind of undercoating from the factory
so I cleaned it up for a good contact and everything was fine. I'm not sure if that was my problem all along but it would be a good thing to check.
