OK.... as I read thread after thread in other areas of the forum, I noticed many guys/girls saying that thier 1/4 times could have been even faster if they would have used some sort of octane booster. Or They wish they would have used high octane gas on their dynos...
Yes that was my second post. Congrats. Now, as far as explaining this to people who have far more experience than myself? Your ignorance shows. I've probably built more engines than cars you've driven...
I simply joined the forum to sell a nice pair of tires I no longer need. Then I looked around the forum for a bit, noticed the octane thing in MANY places, and wanted to help out the "newer" crowd. OBVIOUSLY, yes the topic has come up before. Again, congrats. But I still see and hear guys refering to getting more power out of higher octane. I'm am trying to help these people. You... you need the type of help I am unable to supply. I do have a friend that is into psychiatry though...
