Hey All,
OK, this is odd. I pulled in to the gas station for a fill and after getting the fuel and trying to start my car, it would turn over but not start. i waited about half an hour and couldn't get it to start.
After about 2 hours it started like a charm and ran perfectly. I drove the car for a few mihnutes and turned it off to see if it was OK and of course, it would not start again. It seems that if I wait a long time it starts again fine but not if I've just shut it off.
Can anyone recemmend anything?
Note:
-The car was not very low on fuel to start with
-I did run it very low on gas a few days ago before filling it
-The battery cranks very well and turns over strong
-I've always had fuel pumps die slowly and start to chug, so I don't think that's it. Could I be wrong here?Could running te car to low on fuel damage the pump and cause it to fail when its warm?
Please help!
