The only possible risk you could run into is a little more dirt could possibly get into the engine, nothing to worry about. That is a very slim chance though, on my car I am running RSM Cold Air intake with a K&N filter and have had no problem.

BTW what is the exhaust piping size? Is it 2.5 all the way back because I was thinking about replacing the exhaust on my car also but I cant find the pipe size.
