Today my blower motor suddenly stopped working. I checked all fuses and they were all good, I took it to a local mechanic who recently worked on the car to get some quick advice. He looked around and then pounded on the blower motor a couple times and it started right up. The temperature today has gone from minus 5 to 20 above(fahrenheit). He said it had seized and would need replacement. Does this sound right, or could it have just failed due to the extremely cold weather?
