If the pumps in the U.S. are like that as well then i do not think it is a problem with your truck, it may be just that where you get fuel that the pumps are slow. I know when i get fuel here at different stations sometimes it takes alot longer than other places for the same amount of fuel. Also if the pumps in the U.S. have the same type of shut off and if it is a problem with your trucks fuel filler neck, i would think it would cause fuel to back up in the filler neck and kick off the pump like as if it were getting full. Just a thought..........i could be wrong. Maybe try fueling up at a differnet station next time.....

Thanks for your reply Kenny. That's not the problem though. We have pumped at this station for years with all of our cars and don't have any problems. We also have a Surburban at don't have this issue at all at the same gas station and we have this problem with the Avalanche at every station and pump. It's definitely something with the car.
