If you look at his signature, he's got the HD chassis package. That adds a lot of weight. His exhaust is also most likely bigger than stock, making it heavier. It's also 4x4 and that adds a lot of weight. I have an 86 HD, and it weighs at least 6,500 pounds (welded-up reciever hitch, heavier springs, 1-ton rear axle). Mine does have metal where the new ones have plastic, but I don't think they save too much weight with plastic. I'll take mine to a quarry or a weigh-station in the next few weeks and see what it actually weighs.

And that is a pretty good time for a full-size truck, Similar to what mine does, but I just counted the seconds from a stop on a level stretch of highway.
