Well your title says all season-snow tire-kinda of an oxymoron but the closest would be the Nokian NRW or WR (great all-seasons with a significant predisposition toward winter handling-with no appreciable loss in dry weather performance). As for other all-seasons the 2nd tier would be Pirelli PZero Nero M+S's and the Goodyear Tripletread-(an awesome all-season).
As for more inexpensive TRUE snow tires I would look at the Dunlop Graspic DS2, Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice, Hankook W440 or W300, or possibly the Toyo Observe Garit HT.
The WS-50 is a pretty good tire but the biggest knock-and it's a big one-is the fact that it doesn't communicate much to the driver and has the tendency to suddenly break away at the cornering limit. Otherwise it's an ok all-around winter shoe.
