I suggest that you do not buy a BC as a first mod, you'll only end up blowing the HG and ruining another fine 7m if you get crazy with the boost. Invest in some reliability mods and/or basic mods first, then move on to more advanced modifications. Start off with a good filter and a full 3" exhaust. The exhaust alone will raise boost a couple psi as well as decrease spool time. Remember that (in this situation) the more HP you have the less reliable it will be, the more likely that your going to blow the 15 year old stock HG. Also no, you don't need to even touch the exhaust manifold unless your going with an aftermarket turbocharger (not CT-26 flanged).
