Repairing small dents?

A careless shopper at a local Wal-Mart lost control of her shopping cart and it left a dent in the right rear quarter panel of my new 2004 white Dodge Grand Caravan. The dent is nearly four inches high, 3/4" wide and not more than 1/2" deep. The paint really was not damaged. I have seen "Ding King" devices advertised on TV which supposedly can "pop out" small dents. Do these really work? Or is there something else I can do, short of paying a body shop $500 to fix an otherwise pristine body panel? I have heard of "paintless" repair shops which specialize in this type of repair, but I cannot seem to locate any such shops here in Las Vegas. Any suggestions would be most welcome! By the way, the lady who damaged my van quickly disappeared.
