Hi all,
I just purchased a 1993 Bonneville as a commuter to save miles and winter wear on my Cadillac. It's an SSE with 170,000

miles but in great shape inside and out. Not too shabby @ $1,100 bucks, that's for sure.
Couple of things though (3 actually).
#1 The remote trunk release doesn't work either from the interior button or the key fob. When the button is pressed though, there is a click which I would assume means the relay is functioning. Perhaps the cable is loose?
#2 The power antenna mast isn't functioning and the antenna is stuck in the up position. I partially pulled the trunk lining (it's dark now) and I can see two plugs hanging from around that area. Is the mast a pretty easy install should I have to buy a new one?
#3 This is the biggy. The tranny will not downshift automatically, say from 4-2 etc. It will downshift if I move the selector into 2, but this I'm sure is only a temporary fix and a pretty annoying and unreliable one at that. What causes this? I'm assuming it's the torque converter.
Thanks in advance, and I hope to continue posting in the future.
