Your universal joints have probably been replaced. Any of the factory U joints I've seen have no zerks at all. There's not a single zerk anywhere on my 2002. You can 'massage' the ball joint or tie rod end boots to spread the grease around, or inject them with a bit'o grease with a grease needle. This helps the 'sealed' units last a bit longer.
