The SH does weigh more but it has 5 more horses to compensate for it while the base model has 195 horses with out the extra weight. I bought the SH due to the rims and the spoiler it comes with on it due to the base model having to add on. that's not entirely correct
the 5 speed, whether it's the base or SH has 5 more horses than the SS.
2001 prelude base SS has 195hp
2001 prelude base 5 speed and SH have 200hp. the 5 horses aren't there to compensate for the extra weight of the SH. it's just a matter of the choice of transmission, not model choice. the SH just happens to be available in only a 5 speed.:sun:
