That's pretty strange. Did you check the fuel pressure? Perhaps the pressure regulator is bad and pressure in the fuel rail is too high. My Haynes Manual indicates that with the regulator vacuum hose attached the fuel pressure should be 31-33 psi (39-41 with regulator vacuum hose disconnected). While I can't think of anything else that would cause that, I'm not certain what affect the electronic sequencing would have on leaks. My 93' JGC (4.0 liter) had almost 250K miles on it when I tipped her over and she never had a problem with the injectors. Good Luck.
