in sydney the 'ricers' or fast four's are the wankers of the car world but are trying to prove that you don't need a V8 to be fast. the 'commodore clan' (our holden commodore is a standard family car that comes in many forms including race rep) dictates that being in anything other than a V8 is a waste of space. i tend to lean towards the ricers due to my cars always being 4's but can see beauty in all nicely done up cars.
harleys are a minority here but tend to think they are king shit. that said most with give the head nod to me if i give them the nod first. my first encounter as a learner was a pack of about a dozen bikers all surrounded me then patted me on the back and said it good to see another one on the road despite of what you ride. that inspired me to believe that there are two basic bikers depite the ride:true bikers who love to ride and appreciate all other bikes, and those who are 'handbaggers'.the guys who do it to look a certain way and therefore believe they have to hate the 'other' side
