I do suggest making the base out of styrene and trying to use as little putty as possible. If you go into car modeling, Kunta is building a pantera. All of his boddy work was done in styrene, and he posts great progress if you need ideas.
Good luck, and finish it. Otherwise you will get some Tamiya Ritalin.

Yea i think that car did make bondo's stock go up..
Thanks for the tip, I planed on using a styrene skeleton from the start. (putty is getting expensive, 10.50 a pop). I seen some of Kunta's work, pretty damn impressive
, I will most def look at some of his past builds to gain some more technique/tips.
