This is true but doesn't explain the "Funny Smell" if it's the condensation it would be odourless. When funny smells come from under the hood I always suspect anti-freeze. That stuff smells bad when it gets hot. Being a new car they may have missed tightening one of the coolent hose clamps or you have a badly manufactured hose and under pressure while driving you may have a tiny squirt of antifreeze, looking like a fine stream shot from a syringe needle, and it's landing somewhere on the engine where it is hot. Have the dealer connect a pump to the cooling system and put it under pressure. There is such a tool used for checking cooling systems for leaks. Hope this helps ...
