Seeing willimo's hilux thread, I wanted to start working on my own version. The kit alone is perfect, but I have already build the surf and 4 dr hilux lift-up(also 2 great kits). But, for my nexy hilux, I think it needs more lift. I am going to use lifting blocks and such to give it a bigger suspension and frame lift. But I am really puzzled as to what wheels I should use to make it bigger. (btw monster truck tires are out of the question, not looking for that much lift) I have some tractor trailer tires, but they don't really have 4x4 tread on them. I also have a junk unimog kit that might be sparing its axles for the hilux. So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to post.
Cliffs:More lift wanted for 2dr lift up hilux. Will do body n suspension lift on top of kit lift. Super swampers not enough. Monster truck tires too much. What to do....what to do...
