Blk chrome headlites on a 96 TL!? Now, that's different!
I would think that you would need to learn to remove them from the car. (Look for some bolts underneath the car and screws in the fenderwells holding the bumper in place.) You might need to remove the bumper. Then, you can remove the lites.
To open them up... (this may sound absurd but, it works & makes it easier)... stick them in the oven for a few minutes to warm up the adhesive/sealant. Take them out of the oven and slowly seperate the lens from the housing. Once seperated, you can either paint the housings to your desired color. After having dried, you can apply CLEAR silicone adhesive/sealant and put everything back together nice and snug. Make sure you have a good seal to prevent moisture from getting in! Let those sit for a while and reinstall everything.
This was the process I used to clear my wife's 90 Mitsu Mirage corner lens but, I left the passenger's side in the oven for a bit long and the lens are warped/f*cked up. (That's ok... I need to find parts for the car anyway... :hehe: )
