The outside handle broke (as you already know) and the rod for the latch is laying in the path of the window. That is why the window wont go all the way down. Do not force it or your rod will be bent and it is fun to straighten. I have had to replace all my handles on my 93. I have some spare outside handles I pulled from a 93 parts car if you need one. The guy I got the car from made aluminum brackets to fix the weak point on the handle. Email me if you need one @
