time out, Kev. you assume too much. this IS a car forum, and i gave the reasons why i purchased my car. if you want to talk about "the deeper meaning about why we do the things we do," i'd be more than happy to converse. You might have thought that most, if not all, people on this forum are 'slaves to [their] posessions,' but that IS a lot to assume. I would say most people are here b/c they genuinely want to know more about their own car and help others who have questions. Talk to Igovert, he's a philosophy major, i'm sure he can tell you a lot about the deeper meaning of things. i enjoy delving into subjects laced with philsophy, religion, human nature and then comparing different lifestyles of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Atheism, Nihilism to figure out why we do the things we do. the age-old question continues to be brought up and discussed, but let us deliberate elsewhere (perhaps the PM, e-mail, or AIM).
