Loosen the wheel and jack up the vehicle. Remove the wheel and tire and you will see the brake caliper. Remove the bolts that hold the caliper on and remove the caliper from the rotor. If the rotors need replaced do it now and use a lug nut to hold it in place. Otherwise, just use the lug nut to hold the rotor steady. Now remove the pads from the caliper and use a c-clamp to compress the piston of the caliper. Replace the pads, use shims or brake quiet to insure no vibration. If you are using premium pads they usually come with shims. Replace the caliper on the rotor and tighten the caliper bolts. You may want to lubricate the slides with brake grease so they slide easily. Remove the lug nut reinstall the wheel and repeat on the other side. Good Luck!
