It dumps to atmosphere, and sounds nothing like a BOV
Its basically open, unmuffled exhuast. Its loud as hell, and in the case of the externally dumped internal gate, sounds like complete horse shit. A real external sounds better because the valve is bigger. When I had boost creep problems, an external dump did nothing for it. See the "techpages" on my site, I have the info posted there.
