What's the point of having a new car if you can't have fun in it though? Rich people may be lucky cuz they can afford to waste money. People who think they're rich are always in for a big surprise when they buy a new expensive vehicle and think they can afford payments and all but then insurance kills them plus other bills, how about a kid? or two? whatever? That's what keeps places like Carmax in business. I love the excuse... "I get tired of a car real fast." I'll honestly admit that I could not use that excuse... my family has always been cursed with car trouble, but my CRX has paid for itself with mpg, repairs/swap, etc. over and over again, compared to owning something "newer." My wife's old co-worker just gave up a Lincoln Navigator they used for less than a year for a new Mercedes... with a two year old and a mortgage. I hope it works out for them.
