My Explorer starts up just fine most of the time. The only thing with the gas pedal i've noticed is that it doesn't open the throttle 100% unless i literally grind it into the floor board, the throttle is really lose. My friend said that it was the spring in the throttle making it so loose. Occasionally my Ex won't start period however and I have to manually spray gas into the intake port holding the accelerator wide open to get it to start.
