Partially correct. Mods are overhead cam motors thus you don't need to take off the intake when doing a cam swap. You will need to completely strip down the accessories to access the big 1 piece timing cover. Like StangNut said they are a huge amount of work and if you screw up the timing say bye to your engine. If your are going to get a decent cam you'll need some better valve springs to boot which is also a pain. Comp Cams XE262AH is a good street cam for daily drivers good for 25-30 RWHP. If you got the time and courage go for it otherwise pay a proffessional. Modulardepot.com has complete instructions on the cam swap if you are so brave. Good luck. I haven't got the balls to do it myself yet but plan on it before the end of the year.
