What would you do in a sale situation like this?!?!

So here's the short story. Keep in mind we live in Germany so things work a little different that's why the loan was slow as you will read below. anways...

I meet with the seller of a 1994 740IL on Saturday to test drive the car. I test drive the car, look it over and all that good stuff and like it...

So he mentions he will go $9500 for it. That's what I was going to offer any ways so again, I am happy. We shake hands and say see you on monday.

So I wake up early on Monday morning. We are suppose to meet at 10am at the car and start all the transfere stuff going. I get insurance on the car, get the loan approved and the check sent to me in the mail. Mean time we agreed on a $2000.00 deposit to hold the car until the loan check got to me. Well monday at 10am rolls around he calls and says he can't make it he has an emergency meeting. Understandable cause of the military and all that...

Well I finally get in contact with him tonight after trying all week. He says that he got another on the car for $10500.00 and that he didn't do research on the price of the car and that he would rather sell it for that.

Of course I get mad and explain my frustrations... After everything was said and done I told him I wouldn't go higher than $9750.00.

He said okay and we are suppose to meet again when the loan check arrives.

So what would you do in this situtation? I kinda want to just leave him hanging for a week and never call him again, just cause I am so pissed.

That's not the logical thing to do cause it's hard to find a US Spec Vehicle here in Germany and that's what we really need...
