An engine swap is also a helluva job as well as expensive. Around here, a Daytona is rarely found and those that are, aren't exactly parts cars. The 3.0L is good for around 141 horsies, perhaps around 130 at the wheels. Turbo setup will put it at 260 whp and 270 ft-lb of torque with 9 psi of boost. In total, this engine is capable of 400 hp or more, but thats with a major engine rebuild with several modifications, and even more money... But with the turbo running around $1300 for all the parts (not a kit), its reasonable for an extra 100 hp... These engines have been passed off as weak engines when a little modding can go a long way...
