Re: 92 DX mods?
Wait...do you have a DX or a CX?
For a CX - The only way you're going to get any more pep out of your CX is to do an engine swap. I wouldn't even turbocharge it or add n2o. It's a gutless 70hp, 8 valve motor. I should know I drive one myself. But if you're only looking for a slight change, you could get an intake and swap the header for one from a DX or Si. With the intake you'll need a 1¼" coupler to fit on the T-body. I had to double up another coupler around that to fit it to my short ram intake. But still you're not going to see much out of that this as is. With the car itself you definently have the weight advantage on your side. Honestly I don't think you could even put a vtec head on it (that's what I've heard, I have absolutely no first hand knowledge on this however). If you don't want to wait and save up some $ for a b-series swap (or have no intentions of ever doing one) then I'd recommend swapping over the d16z6 vtec engine. That would give you quite a bit of pep compared to the stock go-kart motor.
For a DX - yes you can swap the d16 head on it and turn it into a mini-me. You can also do any of the things Civic_D16Y5 said.
