I've disconnected my drl's. I don't like driving around with lights on all the time. When I drive on a two-lane highway (where I think drl's are most effective) I just turn on my headlights.
I don't buy the idea that my drl's will make my car more visible in-town. If they can't see my four-door land yacht, I don't think the lights will help.
