I purchased it when I bought my Denali Brand new, they just replaced my drive shaft at 42,000 miles, it was not covered under the warranty, but the protection plan covered it, so the plan cost me $700 the drive shaft would have been $1300. I win, in this case.. Your situation may be different, unfortunatly I have a lot of problems with my Denali.
