what's wrong with the V8 model? the heavier engine results in more front-end traction. and the light rear end typical of all pony cars is a drifter's dream.
i totally agree with you though, seeing more american cars in D1 would rock. plus, all the japanese guys wanna see mustangs, camaros, corvettes, etc drifting alongside their s15's, 86's, and GTRs
