Tat, if you felt you won at 120 and were so far ahead, why not put your flahsers on and claim the win?

You just earned loads of respect from me (if that matters for anything lol). One thing I can appreciate is someone open tothe possiblity of being incorrect and wanting to learn from it.

That is accurate.
In your last description, you refered to heeel-n-toeing twice.
Both scenarios didn't make sense to me:
1. You heel-n-toed to avoid a collision ... abd news .... just use the brake. You heel-n-toe to rev match the lower gear so you can use that gear. If you are trying ot avoid a collision you do not want to "use" the lower gear ... unless you are using the braking power of the compression of the engine to help slow you down faster in which case you do not want to "Rev it up" ... just drop it and let it pull
2. The 2nd reference was when you went back into 3rd when you were ready to take off on your race. heel-n-oe is just a "blip of the throttle" to match the gear so the slow down is smooth ... but you were taking off to race, not slowing down. It would make more sense to downshift and just MASH ON IT

You could have lost 20 hp just by changing dynos ... a different tank of gas ... different temperatures ... if your ignition components were getitng tired. Lots of things.
I am confused by your HP ... your siggy says estimates, but you actually dynoed at 213 ... when were your other dynos?

Englishtown is probably 30 minutes from the Holland tunnel ... maybe a bit more. There are lots of places to race legally with time slips ... you just have to find them.

I know there is another 1/4 mile track just outside of NYC.

100% agreed ... I've been there and I realize how fast things change at speed. THAT is one of the reasons street racing is so dangerous. The track HAS a finish a line ... the street just has gaurdrails
