Welcome to the forum and the AF family.

Good choice on the suv

You might want to go over to the Hyundai Webtech site and click on the tsbs tab after you enter your model and engine type. The tsbs are technical service bulletins that hyundai isses to deal with certain problems that might be expeirenced by the owner of the vehicle. Some of these are performed automatically at your service maintenance visit, whicle others are not done unless you the owner experience a problem that is described within the tsb. Don't be alarmed, cause not all have to be done and not all should be done.

On my vehicle only two tsbs was ever performed, one mandated by Hyundai and another that I did not even know had to be done. But the site is good to look at in case you come across something that might not feel right and would fall within the description of the problem. Plus if you have any idea of doing modifications the site is an asset in providing electrical and shop diagrams without having to spend money on those online services such as AllData etc.

If you plan on doing any modifications, you can venture to this post which outlines all the modifications that I've compiled for owners throughout the years.

Have fun
