transmission problem
ok the cars are a 93 eclipse 1.8 and a 91 talon Tsi AWD.
im looking at buying the talon but right now it doesnt come out of second gear. the linkage moves on the trans so i think its an internal problem.
what im wondering is whether i can put the trans from the 1.8 in the talon. i know that the gear ratio is higher in the 1.8 and that i'll need to move the tranfer case to the 1.8 trans. what other differences are there? does it matter which axles i use?
off topic question: does the 91 and earlier talons have a crank operated sunroof instead of a pop up or is it supposed to be the same as the later ones?
