(make a line on the top of the distributor to the head,so you dont lose where your timing was)
take the timing belt cover off,2 bolts, dont lose the gaskets,
dont need to replace it,
make 3 marks,(on the belt & cam)
so you know where the timing chain was originally
loosen the timing belt, remove the belt to the side,
to take the rocker arm assembly off (to get to the cam),
start from the timing belt side & lossen just the 2 bolts
(holding the assembly down),
then the other 2 bolts & so on,
(make shore you do it this way,or you could crack the assembly)
while moving toward the distributor,
give a little shake & the assembly should pop off,
you can now remove the stock broken cam to insert the nice bigger one!
when putting the rocker arm assembly bolts back in,oil will seep up around the bolts,
clean it off, screw it down, take it back out,do it again,
until all the oils gone,if oils left in it,when the motor gets hot it swells up,
it could crack every piece under that crankcase,
use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the manufacturers settings,
put the dizzy back on,timing cover, valve cover & start up,
I've done this 2 times, but never with a bigger cam,
thats where a professional or shop comes in to play,
why wouldn't a torque wrench not work?
(sorry for the long post, kind of got carried away....)
